How wonderful!
The temp. change must have been dramatic. Perhaps the lake has had less precipitation, or maybe it's had less cloud cover.
Either way, how nice. I love freshwater swimming. It's especially nice to not have to worry about alligators, snakes, and pesky hydrilla.

Glad you had a wonderful time on your vacation! Lake Michigan is beautiful and there's lots of little towns to explore…we are thinking of going next year!
I was admiring the lake today, watching golf on tv. It's amazing how gorgeous the water is… at first glance I thought it was the Bahamas.
